LHC offers competitive cross country with a focus on dependence on Jesus. Athletes compete August through October culminating with the Texas State Homeschool Cross Country Meet.

Coaches organize fun, optional practices once a week at various parks in the Kingwood and Splendora areas. 

 

There are no registration fees; athletes pay for each meet they attend as they come up. Fees are typically about $15 per meet. Meets are usually held at Houston parks and schools on Saturday mornings. Varsity runs first, followed by JV, then Middle School. Middle School races are typically 1-2 miles, and High School races are usually 2-3 miles. 

 

Middle schoolers must be 10 to 14 years old on August 1, and High schoolers cannot exceed 18 on August 1.
